Sweet Straw Life series of installations invite the viewer to visit a strange dimension exploring straw simulacra of reality.

Scenes of everyday life, the comfort of petty bourgeois life style, straw TV with straw programs, straw fish in a straw aquarium, the loneliness of a man sitting in his bed in the middle of the street, large architectural forms, and pseudo-antique ruins are all united by a common material. As an artistic medium, straw is both effective and opened to multiple interpretations. In the sun, straw simulacra shine in all their golden glory. At the same time, they are dust, a product of the decay of matter, as are all things situated on the other side of the Real.
