Columbarium of the World Literature project is an interactive installation. It functions as a pub/bar where a visitor is offered a special music program and a special selection of beverages and snacks. The main object of the exposition is a baroque bar/altar 3.5 meters high and 6.5 meters wide hand-crafted by the artist from wood, furniture accessories and various antique things. Black urn-bottles contain the ashes of the texts by famous world thinkers. Besides the Columbarium-Bar, the exposition also consists of various chairs, lanterns, as well as, other objects crucial for the project’s functioning. Columbarium of the World Literature was first exhibited at the Center for Contemporary Art in Zamek Ujazdowski in Warsaw. It was later exhibited in Szczecin, Germany and Lithuania.
